Philippians 4:4 KJV

Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.

In the Bible, Apostle Paul tells us to rejoice.

He said it like one would say please get me that book on the shelf.

He said it like it’s something that can be so easily done at a whim and not like something that requires circumstances around us changing, our mood changing, or us embarking on a series of steps that when successfully pulled off will lead to happiness.

I’m sure you’ve heard the phrase; “The Pursuit For Happiness.”

Well for the Christian there is no such thing as the pursuit of happiness.

We don’t pursue happiness. We don’t go out there searching for happiness. We don’t go looking for things that would make us happy.

Being happy is just something that we can choose to be at the snap of a finger, and we can choose to remain in the state of happiness forever irrespective of what happens to us or around us.

Happiness is part of our inheritance in Christ.

For the fruit of the spirit is love, Joy,… (Galatians 5: 22).

Joy is bigger than happiness.

Happiness is just a small part of Joy. If Joy is ours, happiness is ours also.

Hallelujah!!!

Prayer :

Dear Lord, I thank you for giving me joy. I thank you for making me happy. I decide to remain happy forever more as I stay my mind on your and meditate on your goodness, your greatness, and your love.

You are Love & you love me, how can I have a reason to be unhappy.

I am forever happy, In Jesus Name. Amen.
